Business and Administration Career Videos
Business is by far, the most popular field of study among undergraduates. According to the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics, more than 318,000 of the nearly 1.5 million bachelor's degrees awarded in 2005-06 were in business. Careers in this cluster involve planning, oversight, and organizational tasks needed to run a business. Many of the business and financial, management, and office and administrative support occupations in the Occupational Outlook Handbook (from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics) are assigned to this cluster. It is projected that most job openings in the business management and administration cluster to be in occupations assigned to the administrative support pathway-including customer service representatives, the occupation expected to have the largest number of job openings in the cluster.
